The Operations Supervisor oversees and ensures effective operation of multiple functions within the Lockbox Department. This individual assists the Management team on customer specific requirements and deadlines, abiding by bank and department policies and procedures. This individual is also responsible for initiating and delivering corrective action for employees under their administration.
This position requires a high degree of responsibility, as this individual assists in staff development and training, provides support and leadership to co-workers and promotes teamwork in the group while establishing and maintaining effective employee relations. At all times, the Supervisor should be visible within the department interacting with staff in order to identify system, process or procedural problems.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements: Strong supervisory skills; effective communicator, leadership capabilities, team building and motivational practices, scheduling experience and the ability to evaluate and monitor the workflow and adjust quickly to unforeseen problems/trends. Training capability, problem solving skills, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills required.
Possess 2-3 years Supervisory experience in a Remittance and/or Check Processing area (operating in an image environment preferred). Knowledge of and familiarity with the operation and administration of transaction processing systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong PC knowledge required.
