Work Schedule
Monday- Friday 9:00AM– 5:30PM. More or less hours per day depending upon the volume received. Minimum of 1 Saturday per month at 4 hours per Saturday. Saturday hours 9:00AM- 1:00PM


To qualify and prepare for image capture, the out sorted “exception” transactions from the regular, standard work of our Lockbox customers in accordance with each of their specific instructions and their processing schedules.


  • Assign and document the distribution of the daily work to the Exceptions Group focusing on the available work and associated customer-processing schedules through the effective communication and coordination with the Mail and Image Capture Coordinators. 
  • Continuously monitor the workflow in Exceptions (re-assign when necessary) and the overall workflow in conjunction with the other department coordinators to ensure the effective use of personnel and that department schedules and customer deadlines are met or exceeded. 
  • Guide Exception Group associates throughout the workday, answering processing questions, scheduling breaks and lunches consistent with the work demands of the Exceptions Group and the department. 
  • Research and then return or re-process miscellaneous items from the previous day.
  • Review errors with the Exception staff that have been provided by the Supervisor.
  • Monitor, review, approve, and/or complete the various daily, weekly, monthly documentation, and reporting pertinent to the Exceptions Group.
  • React and respond to issues or problems that arise. Notify management immediately of any issues that may impact customers pursuant to their processing requirements and any personnel issues that may impact the Group or the department.
  • In conjunction with the Supervisor, train new associates and cross train all Exception Group associates to ensure appropriate coverage at all times.
  • Cross-train on the other Coordinator positions throughout the Lockbox Department.


As the position requires judgement to perform and make decisions as to the sequence of operation and processes in order to meet deadlines and customer requirements, experience in bank operations and/or in a transaction processing environment is preferable.

Strong interpersonal, communications and problem-solving skills that demonstrate leadership capability in order to coordinate workflow with staff are required.

Excellent analytical skills, organization, attention to detail and follow-through skills are needed.

Working knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Windows applications, i.e. Excel/Word are required.
