  • Overview

    Under general supervision, the specialist will perform a variety of accounting clerical duties according to existing procedures, methods and systems. In addition associate will provide support for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Finance Department.


    • Prepare daily reconcilements for the bank's accounts.
    • Balance and verify general ledger accounts daily, prepare accounting entries as needed.
    • IRA CD operations, renewal and maintenance work. 
    • Open, close and perform maintenance on municipal and sweep accounts.
    • Prepares Account Analysis billing process.
    • Handle and follow up with branch inquiries and problems. 
    • Mail notices and prepare reports as needed.
    • Review all GL tickets.
    • File and scan daily, monthly, quarterly documents and reports.
    • Monitor and/or ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering, in addition to, Bank operation policies and procedures.
    • Perform additional duties as requested.


    The qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with at least one year of banking or accounting related experience. The ability to work with spreadsheet software, interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form, and solve practical problems is necessary. Excellent attention to detail and PC skills including Word and Excel are required.
