  • Overview

    Assist with various Loan Operations functions.

    Responsibilities

    • Balances and reconciles loan general ledger accounts daily.
    • Maintains up-to-date stale dated item list, including the appropriate explanations (EOM List preparation)
    • Responsible for month-end general ledger, investor and serviced loans reporting.
    • Processes escrow, payment of city taxes, insurance, PMI and other charges. Maintains Commercial and Consumer Loans escrow records (backup).
    • Provides customer assistance and support to staff when necessary, including loan package scanning/indexing and loan package review.
    • Keeps management informed of any issues or trends that may appear while processing your work.
    • Continually reviews function for possible system and/or procedures enhancements
    • Monitors and/or ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering, in addition to, Bank operation policies and procedures.
    • Performs additional duties as requested.

     

    Qualifications

    The qualified candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of loan operations experience.  Knowledge of related areas such as escrow and collateral tracking are necessary.  Good working knowledge of PC's and software including Microsoft Word and Excel.  Excellent attention to detail/accuracy, great interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines are required.  Knowledge of the Jack Henry Loan System is a plus.
