  • Overview

    Under the direction of the Retail Operations and Support Department Head this individual will provide support and ensure effective operations within the branch network. Additionally, this individual will provide assistance with policy support and other related project work.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform a variety of tasks in direct support of the branch network and ROS department.
    • Provide support to the branch network and serve as a subject matter expert to ensure compliance with operational standards through adherence to Bank policies, procedures and state law and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist in the development of procedures, job aids, and projects as needed. Maintain strong working relationships with the branch network to communicate information and provide support.
    • Assist in the development and completion of the department’s compliance monitoring reviews conducted to ensure compliance to Federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering, as well as Bank operation policies and procedures for the branch network. Associate will measure results and recommend corrective action.
    • Oversee the Teller Cash Difference general ledger account by maintaining Teller Cash Difference reporting, tracking cash differences by teller drawers and ensuring appropriate corrective action is taken according to Bank’s written policies and procedures.
    • Provide monitoring, tracking and feedback to branch associates through the administration of the Compliance Question of the Week program.
    • Act as Coordinator for the FDIC Money Smart Program by reviewing modules, disseminating materials to branches and tracking seminars and workshops completed by branch associates for CRA credit.
    • Perform additional duties and participate in projects as needed.

     

    Qualifications

    The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  A minimum of 2-3 years of branch banking preferably in a supervisory/manager role and knowledge of compliance and branch policies and procedures. The candidate should possess the following skill set:

     

    • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work without supervision
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Info Mapping
