  • Overview

    Under the direction of the Director of Retail Sales and Support and Market Manager, performs business development and ensures the effective operations of assigned branch in conformance with established Bank policies and procedures.


    • Oversees the daily activities of assigned branch.
    • Ensures the efficient and effective delivery of services by assigned staff.
    • Conducts periodic performance reviews, provides training and direction as required.
    • Actively pursues business development activities by calling on new or prospective customers.
    • Actively generates sales, cross sells products and services and promotes the interests of the Bank whenever possible.
    • Originates a variety of loans; interviews customers, assists in completion of applications and prepares documentation.
    • Processes, approves and closes loans within scope of authority, ensuring compliance with Bank lending policies and procedures.
    • Monitors and ensures compliance with Bank operating policies and procedures.
    • Provides for branch security in compliance with established security program and procedures; opens and closes branch office, oversees maintenance and testing of security systems, etc.
    • Provides staff security training and information as necessary.
    • Provides a variety of customer assistance.
    • Responds to customer inquiries regarding accounts and transactions and ensures prompt resolution.
    • Ensures the daily balancing of branch activities and a variety of assigned general ledger accounts.
    • Provides for maintenance and appearance of physical plant and equipment within scope of authority.
    • Recommends improvement, replacement, etc., as necessary.
    • Administers safety program and establishes safety objectives for area of responsibility.
    • Performs related managerial, administrative and customer service functions as may be assigned or requested.
    • Monitors and/or ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering, as well as Bank operation policies and procedures.
    • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.


    Associates degree in business administration or its equivalent through coursework and training. Three to five years in retail banking position, with at least one year of supervisory experience. Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and interpersonal skills. PC skills including Word are necessary.


    This position is subject to the SAFE Act because you may act in the capacity of a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).  As such, you will be required to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and to maintain this registration in good standing.
