  • Overview

    Responsible for Loan Operations Departmental Supervision, workflow, and system parameters review and maintenance.  Responsible for various quality reviews to ensure compliance with bank regulations and policies. Resolves internal and external customer inquiries including system problems and issues.  Mentors and assists with training newer team members.  Reviews and provides feedback on possible system enhancements and improvements.  Provides backup on other job functions within Loan Operations during vacations and other absences as required.


    • Supervises assigned loan operations personnel by allocating and coordinating the work flow, providing guidance and advice on more complex activity within the department
    • Prepares and delivers annual performance appraisals
    • Ensures Jack Henry system parameters are properly setup, responds to reported problems such as customer and bank risk related issues,  resolves pending loan issues and provides feedback on system issues and future system enhancements
    • Assists with the investor insurance and collateral tracking,  legal documentation updates and follows up on exceptions
    • Review daily work and loan maintenance packages. Assists with loan boarding and maintenance requests
    • Handles customer inquiries, problem research and resolution, customer statement and notice review
    • Assist with the preparation and updating of operating procedures to ensure compliance with bank operations policies and regulations 
    • Performs the monthly reconciliation of the SBA 1502 reports
    • Prepares and generates weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for Loan Operations Commercial and Consumer portfolios
    • Identify and supports management with associate training needs including  systems training
    • Participates and coordinates special projects and research assignments as needed
    • Monitors and/or ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering, in addition to, Bank operation policies and procedures.
    • Performs other duties as requested.


    • Advanced PC Knowledge including use of Word, Excel, Lotus Notes
    • Basic knowledge of Accounting concepts
    • Knowledge of Jack Henry loan system and loan parameters
    • Previous loan operations experience
    • General Knowledge of related areas such as escrow and collateral tracking
    • Data downloads
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Works effectively and professionally in a team environment
    • Bachelor’s Degree - Business/ Finance / Accounting
