  • Overview

    Under the direction and supervision of the Branch Manager ensures the effective operation of the branch in conformance with established Bank policies and procedures and assumes the role and responsibilities of the Branch Manager in their absence.


    This Associate will work with the Branch Manager to ensure the completion of the following requirements:

    •  Ensures the sound operation of the daily activities of the branch
    • Provides a wide variety of customer service and assistance functions effectively and efficiently that range from acting in the role of a Teller to origination and closing of  loans
    • Completes branch and self- monitoring reports on a timely basis
    • Monitors and/or ensures compliance with federal and State laws and regulations; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti Money Laundering, as well as Bank operation policies and procedures
    • Works with the Branch Manager to determine direction and focus for the internal sales and cross sell of products
    • Oversees the platform and teller staff to ensure that sales goals are being met and Bank policies and procedures are being followed
    • Ensures the daily balancing of branch related to General Ledger accounts
    • Ensures that branch security is in compliance with established security program and procedures; opens and closes branch office, oversees maintenance and testing of security systems, etc.
    • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested


    The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 3-5 years banking experience and at least one year of previous supervisory experience in a customer service/platform branch setting. Skills should include: attention to detail, strong problem solving, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. PC skills including Word are necessary.


    This position is subject to the SAFE Act because you may act in the capacity of a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO). As such you will be required to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry and to maintain this registration in good standing.
